Magnetic Island - Arcadia to Nelly Bay Walk

This walk joins two of the most popular destinations on Magnetic Island. This short walking track bypasses the busy Nelly Bay hill road and heads directly over the hill, the views to Bremner Point and Geoffrey Bay are amazing. This track is great for the agile as it has quite a few rocky steps, suitable from ages 5 upwards it's a great way to get to the ferry from Arcadia as long as you are not carrying too much hand luggage.

Inland Route
Distance: 6km
Head up the street behind the RSL club in Aracadia and follow the hill upwards, on the left-hand side you will see a sign indicating the start to the Arcadia to Nelly Bay walking track. This track winds through a eucalypt forest and provides excellent views back to Horsehoe Bay. This track is quite steep in parts so it's important that you feel fit enough to complete it and of course don't forget hat, sunscreen, water and camera.
